America’s Hidden Agenda- The Nikhil Gupta Episode
There is quite an uproar in America concerning ‘Pannunn’, and Nikhil Gupta has been arrested in this regard. We will understand this entire story from three perspectives. Firstly, we will try to understand why there is an attempt to revive the ’empty space’ in today’s date. Secondly, we will look into the objectives of the Sikh and justice movement led by Pannunn, how it fits into this entire chronology, and where it comes into play. Thirdly, and most importantly, we will examine the aspect of Nikhil Gupta, the larger geopolitics being involved, and the role of America in it.
So, the first thing, friends, is that in the 1980s, when terrorism in the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ was at a peak level in India, Rajiv Gandhi, in 1987, told India’s Research Analysis Wing to run cost escalation operations in Pakistan. The idea was that if Pakistan is sponsoring movements in India, then make it costly for Pakistan to support these ‘ Khalistani Movement’. In this context, in 1988, the Research and Analysis Wing formed counterinsurgency teams X and Y. These two teams performed two major actions. The first thing they did was to start neutralizing as many ’empty space’ individuals as possible on an international level by tracking and capturing them. The second major thing was that they started similar activities in Pakistan, like those Pakistan was conducting in Punjab, whether it was destabilization or some kind of attacks causing loss to infrastructure.
In 1989, when these cost escalation operations were in full swing, to tackle the movement in the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ within Punjab and to break the entire game plan of its supporters, our security forces conducted two types of operations. The first was Operation Woodrose, and the second was Operation Night Dominance. From 1989 to around 1994-95, these operations were carried out across Punjab at a very aggressive level to neutralize the ’empty space’ elements. When this happened, the unfortunate end result was the assassination of the Chief Minister in 1995. And after this assassination, the general scholarly community, which discusses security, believes that the entire ’empty space’ movement suddenly ended. It was such an incident that created so much shock value in society that if a Chief Minister could be openly killed, then it was a very deep issue. After this, it was seen that the support for the ’empty space’ movement in Punjab gradually ended.
The problem in Punjab in 1995 was that the entire population was traumatized and in need of a healing touch. And this healing could only come from the political level. However, the dominant political party in Punjab, which had always played a role, was the Indian National Congress. But because of its misdeeds and actions, the Congress was not emerging as a favorable political party solution in Punjab at that time. However, after B N Singh’s resignation, when he was a Congress chief minister, people’s hopes shifted somewhat towards the Akali Dal. But the problem with the Akali Dal in 1995 was that it was completely scattered. When the people of Punjab started looking towards the Akali Dal again, Prakash Singh Badal, a leader of the Akali Dal, called for a convention in Mauka, a city in Punjab. In this Mauka convention, the many fragmented parts of the party, which were quite scattered, were united again, and after that, Prakash Singh Badal gave the Akali Dal a new direction. At that time, the people of Punjab wanted the Akali Dal to understand the interests of the Sikh community, the ‘panthik’ voters, and bring a healing touch on the interests of these people and somehow remove the trauma of violence from the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ from the population.
To remove it, the only thing that was necessary was to create economic opportunity, but the Akali Dal completely failed in this task. When they returned to the entire Punjab after the Moga convention, they resumed their corrupt practices. Then, the Akali Dal faced another problem: they had always been in alliance with the BJP, and they tried to further this alliance, which made the Panthic voters, the core voters of the Akali Dal, feel neglected. They felt their interests were being ignored in favor of politics. Another major issue was that the Akali Dal started catering to the Christian constituencies that were emerging across Punjab and began giving them tickets, especially in the local body elections. Observing this, the Panthic voter, the Sikh community, felt a jolt as they had trusted the Akali Dal to address their interests, but this political party had dashed their hopes completely.
Obviously, after the failure of the Akali Dal, and with no alternative, people started to place their hopes again in the Congress. We see that in the early 2000s, there was a divide among the Sikh voters in Punjab. The problem was that when this divide occurred among the Panthic voters, they again leaned towards Congress. But both Congress and Akali Dal failed in the same task of meeting any kind of aspirations. This frustration and trauma that people were experiencing did not find a solution. Taking advantage of this, in the 2000s, ISI started to re-enter the scene. They observed that the entire population of Punjab was disturbed, frustrated, with neither the Congress nor the Akali Dal providing a political solution. At that time, they created a drug economy targeting the traumatized population, many of whom had lost family members during the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ movement. Due to the lack of a political solution to overcome this trauma, when the drug economy was promoted by ISI, many people were led into drug addiction. To run this entire drug racket, ISI gathered small-time criminals of that time, supporting them to start smuggling drugs across the border into Punjab. As this drug spread in Punjab, by 2005 the problem had escalated significantly.
In 2007, America also got involved, as the CIA also needed funds for its illegal overseas operations, and this money comes from selling narcotics. So, in 2007, seeing that Pakistan was nurturing the fault lines in Punjab and had turned Punjab society into drug addicts, and seeing that people in Punjab were divided – neither the Akali Dal nor Congress were addressing their interests – the CIA in 2007 created an organization named ‘Sikhs for Justice’ with Gupt Van Singh Pannun, an Indian citizen living there, a Sikh individual, who proclaimed himself and was supported by them. They started by saying, ‘Now you revive the discussion on the ‘ Khalistani Movement’. So, ‘Sikhs for Justice’, which was formed in 2007 with Gupt Van Singh Pannun, who is now sitting in America and has been on the CIA payroll since 2007, has been doing only one thing from then till today – creating hatred against the people of Punjab, against the Akali Dal, and against the Congress, constantly supporting only one thing by saying that ‘we want the ‘ Khalistani Movement’, because if you keep people misled, then ISI gets an undercurrent to run its drug economy, and America also has a hand in the drug economy. So, people started a narrative – ‘keep busy, neither Congress is doing anything for you, nor Akali Dal, demand the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ so that more hatred is generated among people. And during this period, the population never received any healing touch.
Because of this, people remained drug addicts. After the global recession in 2010, when jobs became scarce in India, Pakistan started a new campaign. They used local criminals and gangsters, who were selling drugs, to start a new racket of human trafficking in Punjab. This new culture in Punjab began around 2010-11, which was similar to a variant seen in the 1960s and 70s. This new racket was to say, ‘We will train you to go abroad’. They used the same gangsters who were supplying drugs, now telling them to set up fake companies and take people abroad on fake visas. The CIA again helped ISI in Punjab because the CIA thought that the money coming from human trafficking could also be cut to run their legal operations. So, understand that you must have noticed that many Sikhs from Punjab, who are told, ‘Come, we will take you to America or Canada,’ often go through Mexico. This is a part of America’s illegal operation, where all the drug cartels, nurtured and supported by the CIA, operate. This new racket was created with drugs – ‘Now we will distribute Punjab with the racket of fake visas’, and as you know, fake visas have become ingrained in the blood of Punjab. As this was happening, by 2012-13, Canada also did not remain behind. Canada said, ‘We also have a stake in this whole story. They created an organization called the Poetic Justice Foundation, and under this organization, they entered the music industry of Punjab. Entering the music industry, they promoted a culture of violent music, and after promoting this violent music culture, they targeted the youth.
Now you see, a whole ecosystem had been created, and we never managed to resolve the fault lines in our Punjab in our lifetime. So, what happened was that in Punjab, various gangs were formed. The small gangsters managed the drug economy and the fake visa racket. Through them, the propagation of a violent culture in the Punjabi music industry was carried out. Now, drugs plus visas plus violent music created a deadly cocktail that led to the radicalization of youth, who were then taken abroad, and through them, a revival of the demand for ‘ Khalistani Movement’ occurred. So, the organization ‘Sikhs for Justice’, led by Pannun, is doing just that nowadays.
What happened in 2023 was that a person connected to the ‘ Khalistani Movement’ movement named Hardeep Singh Nijjar died in Canada. Canada started alleging against India that they killed him. Till date, Canada has no proof that we conducted any interference operation in their territory. The question arises why Canada’s allegation was given attention by America, and now America is playing the same game that Canada played two months ago. America is saying that they have caught a person named Nikhil Gupta who was coming to kill Pannun. Now, see, there is a geopolitical angle here, and that angle is that in 2020, the Indian government gave a slogan in America when our Prime Minister visited there. He said, ‘Next time, Trump government’. Now, since Trump did not win the election in 2020, what happened was that when the President of America was elected, Biden thought that he had to teach India a lesson. The problem is that the relationship with India is such that you can neither break it nor do anything much; you can only try to poke and prod India, and this is what has been attempted for the past four years, and it will continue for another six months, I am telling you. First, look at this: the person who came from there did not send an ambassador to India for three years. Think about the relations between India and the U.S. during this time; it was as if there was no ambassador. Then, when there was to be a visit, like for the G20, they had to send a compelled ambassador. We also told them to send an ambassador, and they deliberately sent Eric Garcetti, a man whose name India had rejected twice due to security concerns, because this man is anti-India and is now sitting in India as an American ambassador. Along with this, this man has intervened in India several times through Donald Lu. So, understand here that George Soros’s entire network, along with the network of Donald Lu, who has a resume changer type image, and the meeting of several Indian politicians with Donald Lu, all point towards an entire framework and ecosystem of money-eating. This campaign is ongoing, so understand the politics that this Nikhil Gupta episode, which America is targeting, saying ‘you wanted to kill Pannun on our soil, and we have arrested Nikhil Gupta’. Nikhil Gupta was sent some money by the Research and Analysis Wing, and then he was going to hire a hitman in America. This is all storytelling, and Americans should understand that Indian people are not foolish; we understand your game. We know that you have been very jealous for the last three and a half to four years, and the biggest reason for this jealousy is that we said ‘next time, Trump government’, but Trump did not come at that time. So, try to understand this matter. Today’s geopolitics is nothing but a pressure tactic, and it will continue for a few more months until Biden is removed, and next year when Trump comes back, you will see that everything will normalize, and nothing will happen. So, this entire episode is a pressure tactic, and I hope you now have clarity about this matter.
